WHATS THE LAW ?

The law is quite clear, if you are sixteen you have the legal right to consent to piercing. If you are under sixteen you need parental consent.

We always ask for proof of age if you are under eighteen, this may seem a little strange but sometimes its hard for us to tell who is sixteen by appearance alone. We will not risk our license so please do not be offended if your asked for I.D.

Identification to verify a birth date must carry your picture and date of birth on the one document. A passport is ideal, this need not be current, the new style Young Scot Card will be accepted.

Where parental consent is required this must be given in the studio we can't accept a phone call after all we could be speaking to anyone. Parental consent can be given by any person who has legal rights and responsiblities in connection to the child.
